James S. Peters has been an attorney with Zukowski Law Offices since June of 1994, and a Partner since January 2005. Jim's primary areas of legal practice include estate planning and administration, corporate representation, public taxing body representation, and intellectual property law.

Jim earned his law degree from DePaul University in 1992. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1989. Jim is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the LaSalle County Bar Association. Jim is the past chairman of the Buisness Advice and Finanical Planning Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association, and currently serves as the Council's news letter editior. Jim also serves on the Board of Directors of several local civic organizations.
