James S. Peters

James S. Peters has been an attorney with Zukowski Law Offices of Peru, Illinois, since June of 1994.

The firm is involved in specialized areas of Estate Planning, representation of public and private schools, and formation of business entities and real estate. The attorneys of the firm attempt to be as responsive as possible to the needs of clients, and pride themselves on being available to meet client needs.

Jim earned his law degree from DePaul University in 1992. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1989. Jim is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the LaSalle County Bar Association. Jim serves on the Board of Directors of several local civic organizations, including the Illinois Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, Peru, Illinois.

Jim's primary areas of legal practice include estate planning and administration, corporate representation, public taxing body representation, and intellectual property law.
