The Illinois State Bar Association, in its February 2010 education law newsletter, published an article by Walter J. Zukowski and Anthony R. Phelps entitled, “New Illinois Freedom of Information Act and Open Meetings Acts Amendments.” The article focuses on the significant changes to both acts, as well as modifications to procedures in dealing with requests. It further discusses suggested actions by taxing bodies.
