Al Humpage

has spent over 30 years in the education field. Al has a BA, MA, and CAS in Education Administration, all from Illinois State University. He began his education career as a junior high and high school classroom teacher, as well as athletic coach. Al has also served as a grade school and high school principal.

Mr. Humpage had been a superintendent for 15 years and was active in many education related activities. During that time Al chaired several successful education tax rate referendums. He speaks regularly before education audiences.

Mr. Humpage is a current trainer for the Regional Office of Education, instructing administrators on evaluation of certificated personnel. Mr. Humpage is also recognized statewide for his expertise in financial matters with an emphasis on Tax Increment Financing Districts.

Mr. Humpage has served on numerous local and statewide boards including the Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (IASCD). He is also the former chairperson for VOICE, a proactive grassroots North Central Illinois oriented legislative group.

Mr. Humpage has also been a member of the Illinois Association of School Administrators Legislative and Advisory Committee.
